Meet Shannon

Shannon is the AI you work with in Directed. It lives where you already work, starting with Slack, so you don't need to open another tab or learn a new tool to get going.

You can ask Shannon to help you think through a problem, draft something, or dig into a question. Like other assistants, it works through things with you in a conversation. What's different is what happens around that conversation.

Shannon keeps track of how your conversations relate to each other. If you're working on something that connects to an earlier discussion, yours or a teammate's, it can bring that context in instead of making you hunt for it. And when a problem needs more than AI, Shannon can help you find someone who has worked on something similar.

That last part matters most to us. Shannon isn't meant to replace the people you work with. It's meant to make it easier to bring them in, and to make sure their help is remembered when it counts.

We're working on deeper connections to the tools you already use, including coding sessions in Codex and Claude Code, and better ways to share your environment so others can work alongside you. We'll share more as it's ready.
